We know that in order to continue to do that for years to come, we need to take special care of our farmland.
Sustainable agriculture is embedded in the Sizemore Farms’ culture at every level. We believe the quality of our crop is directly tied to the quality of the soil, water, and air around us; so we work hard to protect those resources. Sustainable practices and precision agriculture technology keep our soil healthy and reduce the need for chemical inputs. Sizemore Farms is committed to the quality and safety of the berries we produce. Our farm meets and exceeds all industry food safety standards in order to provide the safest berries available to our consumers. From the moment our plants go into the ground until the berries are shipped to our retail partners, Sizemore Farms is dedicated to maintaining our food safety practices to provide you with a product you and your family can trust.
Non-GMO
None of the Florida Supreme Brand berries are genetically modified. Sizemore Farms does not grow or ship any GMO products, period. All berry varieties grown by Sizemore Farms were created using traditional plant breeding techniques.
Research
While agriculture might be man’s first and oldest occupation, our growing practices are certainly not the same as our ancestors’. Sizemore Farms partners with university and industry researchers to play an active role in developing cutting edge technology and innovation. As technology advances, so does our farm’s efficiency. Modern growing practices allow to farm with less inputs, so we are able to grow our berries more sustainably.
