From Our Farm . . .
Sizemore Farms’ location in Plant City, FL makes us perfectly suited to grow sweet, juicy strawberries in the cooler winter months. While other growing regions are experiencing snowstorms, our sunny corner of the country is warm enough to produce the perfect strawberry from November through April.
. . . To Your Table
During our season, you can find our Florida Supreme strawberries in supermarkets across the United States. We choose to partner with the finest retailers in the country to ensure our berries are at their freshest when they reach you.

Handling and Care
Select
When selecting strawberries at the grocery store, look for plump and firm fruit with a bright red color. The strawberries should have a sweet smell when you pick up the container. Avoid choosing a container with any shriveled or bruised berries.
Store
To keep your berries fresh when you get them home, do not wash them right away. Store them in their original package, unwashed, in you refrigerator crisper to maintain maximum freshness.
Serve
Wait to wash strawberries until you are ready to eat them. After rinsing with cold water, let them reach room temperature to enjoy maximum flavor. Eat them on their own as a delicious snack or add them to a favorite recipe.
